Who we are
Did Codex Reset Today? (https://codexreset.vercel.app) is an unofficial, free, informational website operated by LinXiaoTao.
It tracks public posts on X by specific accounts — for example @thsottiaux for Codex and @elonmusk for Grok and Grok Bot, plus accounts for GLM, Claude (including @lydiahallie) and Muse — to infer whether usage limits of the AI products Codex, Grok, Grok Bot, GLM, Claude, and Muse were reset. It shows a timeline and a probability or prediction of the next reset. Optional notifications include in-browser sound, desktop notifications (which need the browser's permission), RSS and Atom feeds, iCalendar feeds, a third-party WeChat mini-program QR code, an embeddable widget, and a public JSON status API. Posts are classified automatically with AI through Vercel AI Gateway, with a rule-based fallback. Results can be wrong.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the companies that offer the products we track, or by X. Names and marks belong to their owners.
Information we collect
There are no user accounts, no sign-up, and no forms. The site does not ask for your name or email address.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes standard server and request logs, such as IP address, user agent, and the requested URL, to operate the site and to protect its security.
The site also uses a first-party cookie and browser local storage, described below, and, in production, Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
Cookies and local storage
A first-party cookie named locale stores your language preference. It lasts for one year. Choosing a language in the language switcher sets this cookie, and the site reads it to decide which language to show.
The browser's localStorage keeps notification settings for in-browser sound and desktop notifications, a local "pray" counter, and a flag for whether confetti has been shown. Those values stay on your device and are never sent to the server.
In production, Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies. Those are described in the next sections.
Google AdSense and advertising
In production the site loads Google AdSense (Auto ads). The publisher ID is ca-pub-1916766675410622.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

In production the site loads Google Analytics (GA4). The measurement ID is G-G8RRJ3VV2E. Google may set cookies such as _ga. Analytics collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser information.

Third-party services and links
The site displays public posts from X (formerly Twitter) and links back to them. Those posts are hosted by X, and X's own terms and privacy policy apply when you use X.
An optional notification shows a QR code for a third-party WeChat mini-program. The site does not receive your WeChat account or identity through that code.
Some links are sponsor links to third-party sites. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes the server logs described above.
Those third parties have their own policies. This policy does not cover them.
How we use information
Request logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults. The locale cookie is used to remember your language. Analytics is used to understand which pages are visited, in aggregate. Advertising helps fund the free site.
The site does not sell personal information and does not build its own profile of you.
Data retention
The locale cookie expires after one year unless you delete it sooner. localStorage entries remain until you clear this site's data in your browser. Server logs are processed by Vercel for operating and securing the host. This site does not keep a separate database of visitors or set its own retention period for those logs.
Your rights and choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, clear this site's local storage, and use the Google advertising and Analytics opt-outs linked above.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Children's privacy

International transfers
The site is hosted on Vercel and uses Google services. Information processed to run the site, such as request logs, may be handled in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page changes when it is. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the updated policy.
